Pleasure Division

Pleasure Divisional Awards

The point total achieved from five Classes within a division are used to determine the Pleasure Divisional  Award. The turnout with the highest score within the division becomes champion and the second highest score within a division becomes reserve champion.

The five classes within each Pleasure Division include:

  1. Turnout
  2. Working
  3. Reinsmanship
  4. Fault and Out Obstacle
  5. Timed Obstacle

The points awarded for each class are determined according to the placing and the number of people in a class.

  • If five or more competitors in a class then 7pts for 1st, 5pts for 2nd, 3pts for 3rd, 2pts for 4th and 1pt for 5th.
  • If less than 5 competitors in a class points are pro-rated according to the number of competitors eg. If 3 competitors then 3pts for 1st, 2pts for 2nd and 1pt for third.
  • In the case of a tie on total points, the tie for championship placings will be broken by the Competitor’s placing in the Turnout Class of that Division.

Dressage and CDE Style Cones results will be converted into points as outlined in the Pleasure Point schedule listed in Pleasure Divisional Awards.
